History and milestones
The library has grown alongside the college since 2017 — from a departmental service into the centre for teaching resources, research support and digital access at PTEC.
Founded 2017
To meet the requirements of the model teacher-education college standard, the department established a publishing arm supporting documentation skills and the printing of the educational research bulletin, named “PTEC Library Press”.
Institutional context
The Department of Educational Research and Library is one of the seven departments of Phnom Penh Teacher Education College, under the Faculty of Teacher Education Research. It is the college’s core academic support unit for educational research and central library services for staff and student teachers alike.
