About
Assistant Professor CHANRAKSMEY THOLTHOEUN is Head of the Department of Educational Research and Library (DERL) at PTEC. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in Education at the University of Auckland (UoA), New Zealand, under the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship (MNZS). Prior to commencing her doctoral studies, she earned a Bachelor of Education from IFL/RUPP in 2012, and a Master of Education from Northeast Normal University (NENU), China, in 2016. She is a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship (University of Arkansas, USA) and completed professional programmes at RELC (Singapore), Nara University of Education (Japan), and NIE/NTU (Singapore). She has been serving at PTEC since 2018, leading strategic development, educational research, and library resources.
Responsibilities
- Departmental strategic planning and library policy leadership
- Promoting, supervising, and coordinating educational research initiatives
- Managing library collections, digital repositories, and patron services
- Teaching Educational Research and supervising 4th-year student-teacher theses
