Action Research Series Volume 1

This is the inaugural volume of the Action Research Series published by Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) with support from the JICA E-TEC project. It features action research conducted by PTEC faculty across various disciplines to improve teaching and learning. The volume includes studies on using role-play to improve English speaking competence, Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) to minimize misconceptions about insects in biology, Project-Based Learning (PBL) in teaching earth science (rock identification), applying a comparative method to teach Khmer grammar (parts of speech), addressing misconceptions in math (mixed numbers and product operations), and developing effective methods for teaching touch typing.
