Quality of Teaching and Learning in Response to 21st Century Education: Selected Action Research Reports, 12+4 Student Teachers Batch 3, Academic Year 2024-2025

This document, published by the Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) in 2025, is a compilation of the top 10 selected action research reports conducted by the 3rd batch of student teachers in the Bachelor of Education (12+4) program for the 2024-2025 academic year. The overarching theme of this collection focuses on enhancing the quality of teaching and learning to meet the demands of 21st-century education. The research reports explore the implementation and effectiveness of various active teaching methodologies to improve student learning outcomes. These methodologies include: The Flipped Classroom Model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Cooperative Learning The K-W-L (Know-Want-Learned) Strategy The Station Rotation Model (Blended Learning) The 7-Es Learning Model Educational games, such as Bingo These active learning strategies were applied and evaluated across multiple subjects—specifically Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, the Khmer language, and Science—targeting students ranging from Grade 3 to Grade 8.
